NHL 26 Now Fully Accessible to EA Play Subscribers

EA Sports NHL 26 has officially joined The Play List on EA Play, giving all members unlimited access to the full game without an additional purchase. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can jump in immediately through their included EA Play benefit.

What's New in NHL 26

The headline feature is ICE-Q 2.0, which leverages official NHL EDGE performance tracking data to replicate real superstar movement patterns in-game — going beyond simple stat boosts to capture player-specific skating and decision-making tendencies.

The Be A Pro mode has been overhauled to center the narrative around the emotional stakes of a hockey career, from rookie debut to superstar status. The redesign moves away from stat management toward a more story-driven experience.

HUT (Hockey Ultimate Team) Seasons is an all-new dynamic mode where every match influences the broader season picture. Combined with the X-Factors system — featuring 28 abilities across five categories — player builds gain significantly more depth.

Supercharge Bundle Active Until May 16

To celebrate NHL 26's arrival on The Play List, EA Play is offering a limited-time Supercharge Bundle through May 16, including double XP and a HUT card pack. Members also receive 3,000 WOC Coins and Season Pass XP Multiplier Tokens each month, with an additional 2 Multiplier Tokens and 3,000 CHEL Coins available through May 7.

Game Pass Ultimate members additionally receive 10% off EA digital purchases, including NHL Points, game downloads, and DLC.
