Park Ji-hoon takes the top spot with a brand index of 22.9 million

In the March actor brand reputation rankings announced by the Korea Business Research Institute, Park Ji-hoon ranked first with a brand reputation index of 22,943,371 points. This survey is the result of a comprehensive analysis of media exposure, participation, communication index, and community index of 100 actors who appeared in dramas, movies, and OTT content from February 25th to March 25th.

What is noteworthy is that the cast of the box office hit 'Prison King' swept all of the top five places. Following Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin ranked second with 12,227,054 points, and Yoo Ji-tae ranked third with 8,654,834 points. Lee Jun-hyuk ranked 4th with 6,897,442 points, and Jeon Mi-do took 5th place by a narrow margin with 6,721,030 points.

Correlation between the success of ‘Prison King’ and brand power

The fact that the cast of a single film monopolized the top rankings of brand reputation shows that the box office success of the film had a direct impact on increasing public awareness and favorability of the actors. In particular, the brand index gap between first and second place reached approximately 10.7 million points, highlighting Park Ji-hoon's overwhelming presence.

The names ranked from 6th to 10th were Sang-min Moon, Hye-sun Shin, Yun-jeong Go, Min Kim, and Ji-min Han. In addition, actors active in various works ranked in the top ranks, including Park Jung-min (11th), Blackpink Jisoo (12th), Kim Seon-ho (13th), Ha Jung-woo (14th), and Park Shin-hye (15th).

Status of top 30 major actors

Byun Yo-han (16th), Kim Tae-ri (17th), Choi Ji-soo (18th), Lee Ki-taek (19th), and Shin Se-kyung (20th) made up the middle part, followed by Yoo Yeon-seok (21st), Moon Ga-young (22nd), Park Seong-hoon (23rd), Chae Jong-hyeop (24th), and Kim Hye-yoon (25th). From 26th to 30th place were Lee Yi-dam, Lee Je-hoon, Ju Ji-hoon, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Seo In-guk.

This ranking is a clear example of the influence that movie box office success has on the brand value of individual actors, and is expected to become an important reference indicator when casting for large-scale projects in the future.
