Margot Robbie is showcasing a unique fashion strategy during the promotional tour for the upcoming film 'Wuthering Heights,' set to premiere in February. In this production starring alongside Jacob Elordi, Margot Robbie plays Catherine, a character whose costumes are composed of only three colors: black, white, and red.

The film's costume designer revealed in an interview earlier this year that they created 45-50 outfits exclusively for the Catherine character. Margot Robbie is practicing 'method dressing' by carrying this character color palette through the promotional tour.

Margot Robbie's stylist Andrew Mukamal recently shared on his social media a black and white look styled with pieces from the Victoria Beckham 2026 Spring/Summer collection. Andrew Mukamal revealed he drew inspiration from Emily Brontë's original novel. The scene he referenced is the powerful moment where Catherine Linton, confined to her room for days, recalls her childhood with Heathcliff while tearing apart a feather pillow.

"She tore the pillow with her teeth in her delirium descending into madness... seemed to find a childish diversion in pulling the feathers from the rents she had just made, and ranging them on the sheet according to their different species."

Despite being inspired by such an intense scene, the actual outfit was expressed in restrained and elegant silhouettes.

Reunion with 'Barbiecore' Creator

Andrew Mukamal is the person who created the 'Barbiecore' trend with Margot Robbie during the 2023 'Barbie' film promotional tour. At that time, they caused a major ripple in the fashion world with pink tones and retro styles reminiscent of Barbie at every event.
