Dahyun temporarily suspends performance activities to recover health

TWICE member Dahyun will not participate in the group's world tour performances for the time being to recover from an injury.

In an official announcement on March 25, the agency JYP Entertainment said, "After closely monitoring Dahyun's condition and carefully reviewing whether she can participate in the scheduled performance, we have decided that it is difficult to proceed with the performance at this time."

Accordingly, Dahyun will not participate in Twice's future performances and will focus on her recovery, and will join when she has recovered sufficiently and can safely perform on stage.

Suffering from injury since February

News of Dahyun's injury was first reported in February. At the time, JYP Entertainment announced that Dahyun would not participate in part of the North American schedule of TWICE's 'THIS IS FOR' world tour.

About a month later, in March, there was a follow-up announcement that Dahyun had not fully recovered yet and would miss the Taipei concert. With this announcement, Dahyun's absence from the tour has been further extended.

Apology and request to fans

JYP Entertainment said, "We sincerely apologize for delivering yet another disappointing news to fans who have been waiting for Dahyun's performance. We will do our best to support Dahyun so that she can fully recover."

The agency asked for fans' understanding and announced that they would work hard to ensure Dahyun's speedy recovery.
