A Spanish Architect Based in Milan Achieves Major Recognition

Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, born in Oviedo, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Spanish National Innovation and Design Award (Premio Nacional de Innovación y Diseño).

Currently based in Milan, Italy, she has served as a bridge connecting the Spanish and Italian design communities.
