Season Opener Schedule

The Nebraska women's basketball team will play its 2025-26 season opener on Monday, November 3, at noon (Central Time) at Pinnacle Bank Arena, hosting the Northwestern State Lady Demons in their home opener.

Prior to the game at 9:30 a.m., a special event, the Sizemore Sportsmanship Rally, will take place. This large-scale event will bring together approximately 4,000 middle school students and their supervising teachers from more than 80 schools across the state of Nebraska.

Featured Participants

The rally will feature Head Coach Amy Williams and Nebraska starters Jessica Petrie and Logan Nissley. Softball Head Coach Rhonda Revelle and national player of the year Jordy Bahl will also take the stage.

Athletes from the volleyball, football, and wrestling teams will participate as well, with 2025 NCAA Champion Lizzie Loberg scheduled to deliver a message to the young attendees.

The game will be streamed live on the B1G+ streaming service, with students from the University of Nebraska's College of Journalism and Mass Communications handling the broadcast. Radio coverage will be provided by Matt Coatney and Jeff Griesch, who are entering their 25th season together.

Listeners in the Lincoln area can tune in to FM 107.3, while the Omaha area can listen on FM 97.3/AM 1490. Live audio will also be available on Huskers.com and the Huskers app.
