Rookie Won Gyu Bin Linked To 'Moving 2' Lead Role

Rookie actor Won Gyu Bin has reportedly been cast as Kim Bong Seok in Season 2 of Disney+'s hit original series 'Moving.' According to industry reports, he attended a full script reading held at KINTEX in Ilsan, where approximately 150 cast and crew members gathered.

Following the reports, Won Gyu Bin's agency nne stated, "We cannot confirm this. We ask for your understanding," while Disney+ similarly declined to confirm the casting.

Why A Recast Was Necessary

Lee Jung Ha, who played Bong Seok in Season 1, enlisted in the Marine Corps on January 26 and is currently serving his mandatory military service. His scheduled discharge date is July 2027 — which aligns closely with the show's target 2027 premiere, making his return effectively impossible.

With Bong Seok being a central character, the production appears to have moved forward with finding a replacement rather than leaving the role vacant.

'Moving' is a superhero action drama based on writer Kang Full's webtoon of the same name. The story follows teenagers with hidden superhuman abilities and their parents, who harbor painful secrets tied to powerful, generational dark forces.

Season 1 became the most-watched Korean original series on Disney+ at the time of its release. Season 2 is expected to shift focus from the younger leads toward newly introduced characters and the adult generation, with a 2027 premiere in sight.
