North American Market Expansion Begins

SimRacing Expo 2026 will be held from May 22-24 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This marks the first time the event, which began in 2015, will take place outside of Europe in North America.

Organizers are promoting this event as "the largest SimRacing Expo ever," with confirmed participation from major companies including Asetek SimSports, Fanatec, iRacing, Thrustmaster, eNASCAR, and Giants Software.

A Place for Experience and Connection

During the event, attendees will be able to:

• Test professional-grade racing simulators hands-on
• View legendary race car exhibitions
• Meet real racing drivers and teams
• Connect with sim racing creators and the community

Organizers are also preparing multi-day stage shows, where new product launches and announcements are expected to take place.

Limited Edition: 500 Golden Tickets

Separately from the expo, a special package called the "Golden Ticket" will be sold in a limited quantity of 500. This ticket includes expo weekend admission plus entry to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Track Pass with Turn 4 seating for the Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 24.

Michael Wamser, CEO of organizing company South West Vision USA, stated, "We are excited to offer attendees a comprehensive motorsports package that includes top-tier exhibitors, multi-day stage shows, and the opportunity to watch the Coca-Cola 600," adding that "we will be announcing more participating companies and experiences in the coming months."

Growing SimRacing Market

SimRacing Expo has grown over the past 11 years into the world's largest consumer and trade show in the virtual motorsports sector. The event brings together fans, developers, and hardware manufacturers, with over 24,000 visitors attending the 2025 expo in Dortmund, Germany, demonstrating its scale.

The North American market is traditionally strong in motorsports culture with NASCAR and IndyCar, and is considered an important growth driver in the sim racing industry. Charlotte is known as the home of NASCAR, and the venue selection can be understood in this context.
