Second Year of Expanded Campaign
This marks the second year of Love's '10ve for Cleats' campaign. Last year, with help from corporate partner U.S. Venture and sports marketing agency Capture Sports & Entertainment, he donated over 1,300 pairs of cleats to 26 Wisconsin sports teams.
Love said, "Seeing this campaign grow and being able to expand it to my hometown of Bakersfield is very special. The goal is to reach more kids and help them focus solely on the game."
This year, his foundation received a total of 169 applications from teams in Bakersfield and across 74 Wisconsin cities.
Corporate Partnership's Community Impact
This campaign demonstrates the impact that can be created when athletes partner with community-focused organizations. U.S. Venture has worked for 75 years to combat poverty in northeastern Wisconsin.
U.S. Venture CEO Eric Kessenich stated, "We believe in the power of community and the ripple effect created by small acts of kindness. Partnering with Jordan Love to help these kids chase their dreams and nurture their passion for sports is a privilege we are very proud to support."
Foundation's Mission
This campaign aligns with the mission pursued by Love and his foundation. The Hands of 10ve Foundation aims to encourage children from all backgrounds to participate in sports and promote physical and mental well-being.
The foundation also works to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention, as well as build stronger relationships between law enforcement agencies and communities.
