30 Years of Global Experience at Chevron
Chipponeri served at Chevron for 33 years from 1984 to 2017, holding various positions. Starting as a facilities engineer in Bakersfield, California, he progressed through roles including process safety engineer, field supervisor, project engineer, and business manager, ultimately retiring as a senior project manager.
His career encompassed global projects spanning not only the United States but also Indonesia and Australia. Managing projects worth up to $3 billion (approximately 4 trillion Korean won) while leading multinational teams sharpened his leadership skills.
Post-Retirement: Triathlon and Coaching
After semi-retiring in 2017, Chipponeri began focusing on personal growth, coaching, and endurance sports. He has completed over 12 half Ironman competitions and participated in the Rottnest Channel Swim (21km) in Australia.
