Unusual tearful scene at NCT DREAM encore concert
Popular idol group NCT DREAM created an unexpectedly emotional scene during the Seoul encore concert of its fourth world tour 'DREAM THE FUTURE', raising concerns among fans.
According to multiple fandom media reports, Mark, Renjun, and Haechan shed tears during the performance of the emotional song 'Rainbow'. In particular, it was reported that Haechan was so overcome with emotion that he could not sing his part properly. Afterwards, Jisung also burst into tears on stage, and other members were seen immediately approaching and comforting him.
Anxiety spreading among fans
It is very unusual for NCT DREAM to have multiple members shed tears during a performance at the same time, sparking various speculations among fans. While some fans interpret it as an emotional reaction stemming from the meaning of the song, concerns are also raised that it may be related to military enlistment schedule or contract renewal issues.
One fan expressed his bewilderment on social media, saying, "I spent 6 days speculating what was going on, but how can I accept him suddenly crying like that on the last day?" Another fan expressed concern by saying, "I didn't want to see her cry like that. She cried while singing, not during a comment, so there must be some reason. What on earth is going on with three people crying at the same time?"
In particular, there was a desperate response saying, "Is this really the end... I didn't want to believe it. I can't live without Dream," raising anxiety within the fandom.
There is no official statement from the agency yet.
To date, there has been no official explanation or statement from SM Entertainment. NCT DREAM is a group that has steadily grown and built a global fandom since its debut in 2016, and it is expected that curiosity and concerns about members' unusual emotional expression will continue for the time being.
