Agency announces official position

The six-member boy group WEi will temporarily suspend group activities for the time being and focus on individual activities.

OUI Entertainment announced in an official announcement, "WEi members plan to undertake various unit activities and take on new challenges in their respective fields based on the experience and capabilities they have accumulated through group activities."

The agency explained, “For the time being, the members will have time to focus a little more on their individual activities and expand their respective areas.”

The group is not disbanded... “Maintaining relationships as a team”

However, this announcement does not mean the group's disbandment. The agency emphasized, "WEi will continue to maintain relationships and direction as a team," and added, "We plan to continue group activities in various forms when the right opportunity and timing is right."

He added, "The members are also united under the name WEi and are supporting each other," adding, "We will actively support both individual activities and future group activities."

WEi is a six-member boy group under OUI Entertainment that debuted in October 2020 and consists of Jang Dae-hyun, Kim Dong-han, Yoo Yong-ha, Kim Yo-han, Kang Seok-hwa, and Kim Jun-seo. Since their debut, they have been active with songs such as ‘Twilight’, ‘Mountalite’, and ‘Superstar’.
