Airbnb has partnered with Disney to recreate the Malibu beach house from the hit drama 'Hannah Montana' as an actual lodging. This project is part of a large-scale nostalgia campaign commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana's airing, and reservation applications began on March 25th.

Accommodation will be provided on a per-night basis for a total of 10 sessions from April 6th to 16th, and each session can accommodate up to 4 people. Selection is made through Airbnb’s reservation request system.

Experience ‘the best of both worlds’

This accommodation, located in Malibu, faithfully reproduces the fictional beach house in the drama, while placing interactive elements throughout to experience the 'dual identity' theme, which is the core setting of the work.

Guests will experience the ‘Best of Both Worlds’, with accommodations including drama-themed interiors, ocean views and direct beach access. A balcony overlooking the coastline is also provided.

The highlight of this experience is ‘Hanna’s Closet,’ the symbol of the drama. This space is where ordinary girl 'Miley Stewart' transforms into pop star 'Hannah Montana', and sequin-decorated costumes, colorful accessories, and representative stage costumes from dramas are on display.

Expansion of 20th anniversary campaign

This Airbnb project is part of a comprehensive campaign commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, which made Miley Cyrus a global star after it first aired in 2006. Disney has already released special content commemorating the 20th anniversary, and Starbucks is also joining in the festive atmosphere by introducing Hannah Montana-themed drinks as an unofficial secret menu.
