Final preparations for launch begin
Four astronauts participating in the Artemis 2 mission arrived at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida, USA on March 27 (local time). They will begin final preparations ahead of launch, which is scheduled for April 1 at the earliest.
This year's Artemis 2 is a historic mission that will send humans into lunar orbit about 54 years after Apollo 17 in 1972. The crew will fly around the moon aboard the Orion spacecraft and then return to Earth, which will be a prelude to the future lunar landing mission Artemis 3.
