Opening a new chapter in Kaiju fighting games

Kaiju fighting game GigaBash announced the largest DLC ever, 'Final Ascension'. Developer Passion Republic Games announced that this DLC will add two original characters, two new maps, new music, and a completely new story mode chapter.

This DLC is the third original content following the ‘Mighty Warriors DLC’ and the free ‘MechaJuras DLC’ released last year. The development team expressed its ambition to present the best content for fans of the genre in line with the recent revival of kaiju and tokusatsu media.

New characters: Gaya Gigaman and Zargora

The first new character, 'Gaya Gigaman', is the resurrection of the champion of justice, Gigaman, in a new form. The design was inspired by mythological images symbolizing the sun, sky, and justice, and used celestial phenomena such as nebulae, supernovae, and solar flares as motifs. It is characterized by overwhelming speed, enough to throw a punch before the enemy is even aware of it, and with the 'Blueshift' ability, even afterimages have offensive power. You can also strengthen your skills with the ‘Flare’ ability.

The second character, 'Zargorah', is depicted as the emperor of the Titans and the devourer of stars. It is a dragon-shaped chimera that combines design elements of the existing characters Rawa and Balzarr, and is a being that maximizes the destructive power of the Dragon of Destruction. It uses flame attacks and a spear of pure annihilation as its weapons, and possesses a powerful skill that erupts jets of apocalypse from the earth's crust.

Story expansion in response to fans' requests

One of the most requested requests that Passion Republic Games received was a story mode expansion. The development team has been thinking, "It would be nice to do this" for a long time, but through this DLC, they have begun to expand the story in earnest.

The new story chapter focuses on the Gigaman character. Gigaman is a mysterious being who suddenly appears from nowhere, does not fit the mold of existing Titans, and disappears for a long time before returning. It is expected to answer the core questions of the GigaBash universe: "Who is he? Why does he exist?"
