Eungbongsan Mountain is a famous sunrise spot in the city that offers a panoramic view of the eastern part of Seoul, including the Han River and Seoul Forest. Every spring, the entire mountain is colored with yellow forsythia flowers, making it the first place in Seoul to announce the news of spring.

Seongdong-gu has held this festival every year in accordance with the blooming period of forsythia, and this year also prepared various programs for both residents and visitors to enjoy.

A variety of programs spread over two days

On the first day, the 27th, the opening ceremony was held with an exciting performance by a brass band consisting of brass instruments. Along with experience programs such as Four Cuts of Life and Face Painting, various sculptures such as Forsythia Arch and a photo zone are installed to attract visitors.

On the second day, the 28th, a choir performance by the Boys and Girls Choir is scheduled, and a 'Illustration and Drawing Contest' in which about 300 children and their families participate will be held. Pre-registration for participants is possible through the Seongdong-gu Office website until March 25th, and on-site applications are also accepted on the same day. Experience programs such as Four Cuts of Life and face painting, as well as photo zones, are always open throughout the festival period.
