With Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodón unlikely to return until May at the earliest, Schlittler's composure is a lifeline for New York's rotation.

Painter's Long-Awaited Debut

For Andrew Painter, the moment itself was everything. MLB Pipeline's No. 26 overall prospect, Painter missed most of 2023–24 recovering from Tommy John surgery before returning to post a 5.26 ERA in 118 minor-league innings last season.
