Simultaneous release of 5 main character posters

Coupang Play's new drama 'The Absolute Value of Romance' has begun full-fledged promotion by releasing character posters for the five main actors. The poster released this time contains the characters of unique cast members such as Kim Hyang-gi, VIXX's Cha Hak-yeon, N.Flying's Kim Jae-hyun, Son Jeong-hyuk, and Kim Dong-gyu.

'The Absolute Value of Romance' tells the story of high school student Yeo Eui-ju (played by Kim Hyang-gi) who secretly writes a BL (Boys Love) novel with the school's handsome teachers as the main characters. However, when they encounter real teachers at an unexpected moment, their peaceful school life begins to be shaken.

A lineup of 5 unique characters

In the first poster for Yeouiju, Kim Hyang-gi appears holding a laptop while standing on her novel 'We Were Friends'. The phrase ‘student by day, romance novelist by night’ hints at the character’s double life.

Gausu, a math teacher played by Cha Hak-yeon, is a Mensa member with an IQ of 156 and was introduced as a ‘cold and handsome math teacher.’ N.Flying's Kim Jae-hyeon's Japanese teacher, No Da-ju, is portrayed as a 'mood maker' who brightens the mood wherever she is with her unpredictable energy and bright smile.

Physical education teacher Jeong Ki-jeon (played by Son Jeong-hyuk), a former member of the national team, was set as a 'real man' with a straightforward personality, while Korean language teacher Yoon Dong-ju (played by Kim Dong-gyu) was set as an attractive character with a good vibe.

Coupang Play first released on April 17th

‘The Absolute Value of Romance’ will be released for the first time on Coupang Play at 8 PM on April 17. Kim Hyang-gi previously showed impressive acting in 'Moments of Eighteen' and Cha Hak-yeon in 'Familiar Wife', so expectations are rising for their chemistry in this work.
