A Solitary Spring, and a Search for Truth

MBC's Monday-Tuesday drama In Your Radiant Season airs its finale on April 3 at 9:40 p.m. KST, bringing its emotionally layered story to a close. In newly released stills and previews, Song Ha Ran (Lee Sung Kyung) greets spring alone following the sudden disappearance of Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop).

A Seven-Year-Old Secret Comes Undone

The drama's central mystery traces back to events in Boston seven years prior. After his laptop was accidentally switched with that of roommate Kang Hyuk Chan (Kwon Do Hyung), Sunwoo Chan began messaging Song Ha Ran while pretending to be him. Their emotional bond grew deep—paradoxically making Song Ha Ran fall harder for Kang Hyuk Chan.

The story turned tragic when Kang Hyuk Chan was killed in an explosion and Sunwoo Chan was critically injured. Upon returning to Korea as a trainee doctor, Cha Su Jin (Lee Joo Yeon) blamed Sunwoo Chan for the incident, prompting him to vanish without explanation.

In the finale, Song Ha Ran recalls a meaningful comment Cha Su Jin once made and seeks her out. Faced with Song Ha Ran, Cha Su Jin reveals everything—the full truth of the explosion, the reason Sunwoo Chan disappeared, and her own past with Kang Hyuk Chan. The unexpected truth leads Song Ha Ran to realize that Sunwoo Chan had been trying to protect her all along.

A Second Love Story Heads Toward Its Ending

The drama's secondary narrative—Song Ha Young (Han Ji Hyeon) and Yeon Tae Seok (Kwon Hyuk)—also approaches its conclusion. After learning of Yeon Tae Seok's true feelings, Song Ha Young has kept her distance. Stranded in Gangwon Province due to heavy snowfall, she finds Yeon Tae Seok racing to her side—only to be blocked by road closures. How their story ends remains a key point of anticipation.
