This week's new Xbox lineup

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance (March 31)

This work, developed by Crystal Dynamics, is a new work in the 90s dark fantasy action-adventure series 'Legacy of Kane'. This work, a return to the 2D action platformer genre, focuses on vertical movement, flexible combat, and skill-based play. The dark fantasy world of Nosgoth is realized through animated cutscenes and elaborate pixel art, and each level is structured with a natural connection between environmental puzzles and combat. Super Meat Boy 3D (March 31)

Super Meet Boy 3D, published by Headup, is a 3D evolution of the legendary indie platformer series. The player must rescue his girlfriend, who is made of bandages, from the evil fetus in a tuxedo. It boasts extreme levels of difficulty, including wall jumping, dodging seas of saw blades, and passing through collapsing caves. Content Warning (April 1)

This is a cooperative horror game developed by Landfall, and the goal is to film scary scenes with your friends and create viral videos. Customize your character using the ASCII-based face customizer, purchase equipment, and then take the diving bell down to the 'Old World'. Darwin's Paradox (April 2, $24.99)

It is a platformer-adventure-puzzle game published by KONAMI. The main character is Darwin, an octopus who was dragged from the sea and locked in a huge industrial facility. You must use the octopus' unique abilities, such as swimming and camouflage, to overcome traps and dangers. If you pre-register, you can get two exclusive skins: ‘Psyched’ and ‘Dotted’.

Grime II (March 31)

This action-adventure metroidvania from Kwalee Publishing is the sequel to its acclaimed 2021 predecessor. Players become Formless and use the Art Mimic ability to absorb creatures and summon their forms. Explore new lands in the Grime Universe and face powerful enemies and epic bosses. JokerJack (March 31, $9.99)

This deck-builder game from Stardom Game Studios combines the basic rules of blackjack with a system of combining over 60 unique joker cards. The key is to build game-destroying synergy, such as triggering an exponential multiplier when you hit 21 correctly.

NubiaPhobia (March 31, $7.99)

In this point-and-click puzzle game developed by Sometimes You, you must break a witch's curse by solving strange puzzles that mix horror and humor. Xbox One X Enhanced support.
