The horse racing simulation game 'Rival Stars Horse Racing' will be released on the Xbox platform on April 28. The player inherits the family's dilapidated ranch and is tasked with rebuilding it into a renowned racehorse family.

4 racing modes provide a variety of challenges

The development team stated that they aimed to provide the most realistic and in-depth horse racing experience for horseback riding fans. The game supports four racing modes.

• Flat Racing: Traditional racing where you jump out of the starting gate and aim to be first across the finish line.
• Cross Country: An outdoor course that requires you to overcome sharp curves and jumping obstacles.
• Steeplechase: A difficult mode that combines elements of flat and cross country.
• Show Jumping: A graceful obstacle race in the arena.

In Story Mode, you can experience all game modes through the entire campaign, meeting new friends and rivals as you work your way toward restoring the ranch.

Real genetics-based horse training system

The core content of the game is training racehorses. In addition to Thoroughbred, a total of 10 breeds can be raised, including Arabian, Mustang, and Akhal-Teke.

The genetic system faithfully reproduced real horse breeding. 270 fur patterns, 12 colors, 5 dilution genes, and more than 60 patterns are combined according to the rules of dominant and recessive genes. Through interbreeding, you can create a mixed-breed horse that combines only the strengths of the desired breed.

Using the 'Horse Creator' function, you can create your own dream horse by customizing details from mane length to face pattern.

Balance between casual and simulation

The development team said they sought a balance between cozy ranch management and realistic horse racing simulation. It seems to be aimed at being a game that can be accessed not only by horse racing enthusiasts but also by casual users who enjoy animal training games.
