Free supernatural survival game takes its first steps to Xbox consoles

The free-to-play supernatural survival game ‘Once Human’ is conducting its first console closed beta test for Xbox Series X|S. According to related industry reports, this test will be conducted for approximately two weeks from 11 a.m. on March 26 (Korean time) to 3:59 p.m. on April 9, and pre-download is available from 11 a.m. on March 25.

In this closed beta, the tutorial and 'Manibus' scenario will be revealed, and can only be played on EU and NA servers. All progress will be reset after the test ends, but participation rewards will be permanently paid to the linked account.

Participation methods and conditions

Xbox players who want to participate in the beta test must register through the 'Xbox Insider Hub' app. Simply select ‘Once Human Closed Beta’ in the ‘Previews’ section of the app and complete the registration. Selected players will be connected to the store page and can install the beta version.

However, there are some limitations. Due to the limited number of participants, not all applicants can participate, and only controller play is supported exclusively for Xbox Series X|S. There are regional restrictions, so only Xbox Insiders in North America and Europe can participate.

Beta test rewards and precautions

Players who reach character level 20 during the test period can permanently obtain the 'Closed Beta Pack'. This pack includes 'Abyssal Dragon Set' and 'Dragon Dance – KAM', and will be paid to the linked account when the game is officially released on console.

Meanwhile, the developer strictly prohibited streaming, recording, and sharing beta content to increase the concentration of the testing environment. Instead, we will actively collect bug reports and improvement suggestions through in-game feedback tools and official channels.
