Tops the UK Official Chart for the 3rd time, breaking a new team record

BTS swept the global music charts with its 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG', breaking new team records one after another. According to Big Hit Music, the agency, 'Arirang' topped the UK's 'Official Album Top 100' chart (counted from March 27 to April 2) released on March 28. This is the third #1 in total, following the 6th mini album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA' and the 4th full-length album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7', and is a record-breaking achievement for a 'K-POP' artist. It also ranked first on the ‘Official Vinyl Album Chart’ at the same time.

The title song 'SWIM' ranked 2nd in the 'Official Single Top 100', achieving its highest score, surpassing the 3rd place achieved by 'Dynamite' in 2020 and 'Butter' in 2021. The included songs 'Body to Body' (28th) and 'FYA' (39th) also entered the charts, proving the overall completeness of the album.

Spotify wins 3 awards, most weekly streaming by 2026

In the weekly chart released by Spotify on March 27 (counted from March 20 to 26), BTS achieved three wins by sweeping the global charts of 'Weekly Top Album', 'Weekly Top Song', and 'Weekly Top Artist'. The title song 'SWIM' recorded 82,268,468 weekly streams, setting the highest number of weekly plays among all songs in 2026 based on Spotify's statistics.

In particular, all 14 tracks included in the album entered the top ranks of 'Weekly Top Song Global'. 'Body to Body' (2nd), 'Hooligan' (4th), 'FYA' (5th), 'NORMAL' (6th), 'Aliens' (7th), 'Like Animals' (8th), '2.0' (9th), and 'they don't know 'bout us' (10th) dominated the top 10, while 'Merry Go Round' (12th) and 'One More' Night' (14th), 'Please' (16th), 'Into the Sun' (20th), and 'No.' featuring the sound of King Seongdeok's New Bell. 29' (22nd) was also ranked high.

BTS entered 'Weekly Top Artist Global' for 232 consecutive weeks, setting a tie record for being the longest charting artist on the same level as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, and Justin Bieber. 'SWIM' maintained first place in 'Daily Top Song Global' for 7 consecutive days from March 20th to 26th.

Simultaneously dominated global charts including Australia and France

It simultaneously ranked first on the ‘Top 50 Albums’ and ‘Vinyl Chart’ released by Australia’s ARIA. This is the highest performance among Korean singers this year based on Big Hit Music announcement. BTS achieved first place on the ARIA 'Top 50 Albums' chart for the third time following 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' (2020) and 'Proof' (2022), and also holds the record of having a total of 7 albums placed in the 'Top 10'. Four songs entered the ‘Top 50 Singles’, including ‘SWIM’ (4th), ‘Body to Body’ (26th), ‘Hooligan’ (46th), and ‘FYA’ (48th).

It also took the top spot in the 'Top Albums' (counted from March 20th to 26th) announced by the French Phonographic Society (SNEP), reaffirming its influence in the European market.

Simultaneous release of remix album ‘Keep Swimming’

Following the release of their 5th full-length album, BTS released the remix album 'KEEP SWIMMING' on March 27th. This remix album contains a total of 9 songs, including 7 remixes arranged based on the musical goals of each of the seven members. This album, which captures the members' individual musical colors, is expected to bring another level of enjoyment to fans.
