New album 'ARIRANG' sweeps the UK charts, breaking all-time record with title song ranking 2nd on single chart

BTS dominates the two major UK charts
BTS topped the UK Official Album Chart with their new album ‘ARIRANG’. According to the UK Official Charts on March 27 (local time), BTS's new album 'ARIRANG' debuted at No. 1 on the Official Album Chart.
The title song 'SWIM' entered the official single chart at number 2, recording the group's highest ranking ever. The songs ‘Body to Body’ and ‘FYA’ also entered the top 40 at 28th and 39th place, respectively.
Reaffirming our position in the UK market
This achievement once again proves BTS' dominance of the UK market. 'ARIRANG' is BTS' third album to top the UK album chart and their 12th album to enter the chart overall. Previously, 'Map of the Soul: Persona' in 2019 and 'Map of the Soul: 7' in 2020 topped the same chart.
BTS is also continuing its steady performance on the single chart. 'SWIM' is the group's fifth top 10 hit, following 'Dynamite' (highest #3), 'Life Goes On' (#10), 'Butter' (#3), and 'My Universe' (#3), a collaboration with Coldplay.
Meanwhile, 'ARIRANG' also debuted at number one on the Official Vinyl Album Chart, confirming its strength in the physical market. According to related reports, this album is said to have recorded the highest first week sales in BTS history.
